Summer Village Regional Emergency Management Partnership (SVREMP)

About SVREMP

The Summer Village Regional Emergency Management Partnership (SVREMP) is a collaborative initiative between the Summer Villages around Lac Ste. Anne and neighbouring municipalities. The partnership works together to prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies and disasters that could impact our communities.
Through joint planning, training, and coordination, SVREMP enhances local readiness and ensures an effective regional response to emergencies such as wildfires, severe weather, flooding, or other major incidents.

Purpose

The purpose of SVREMP is to:

  • Coordinate emergency planning and response among participating municipalities.
  • Share resources and expertise to strengthen overall community resilience.
  • Ensure consistent communication with residents and agencies during an emergency.
  • Support recovery efforts after an incident through shared knowledge and regional cooperation
